Influenced during the 60’s; Pop, Soul, Blues and eventually Jazz, Brendan’s natural talents began when he formed with friends (Gerry McAvoy) his first band PRIDE at the age of 14.

Moving to London in 1974 he joined up with 2 Belfast musicians to form SWIFT. Winning the Young Jazz Musician of the year gave them a 2-year sponsorship to tour the UK and Europe. In 1981 he joined Rory Gallagher’s band recorded and toured the world extensively for 10 years. Since then Brendan has been playing with the best in the business including; Albert Collins, Jack Bruce, Slash, Eric Burdon, Alvin Lee, Alannah Miles and Nine Below Zero. Currently Brendan is touring and Ronnie Lane’s Slim Chance and Mud Morganfield.
