Inspired by the music of Muddy Waters, SRV, Howlin’ Wolf, Albert King, Hendrix and more, Chris Taplin and his band are hugely popular within the Belfast blues community, hosting a weekly blues show at The Belfast Empire (maintaining Rab McCullough’s legacy in establishing the longest running blues residency in the city). Joined by multi-instrumentalist and singer Terry McHugh, their Blues On The Bay debut shall transport us from Belfast to the Mississippi Delta and beyond.
