Belfast singer-songwriter Davy Watson blends Rhythm & Blues, Celtic folk, Americana, and rock 'n' roll into a soulful, road-worn sound full of character and heart.
Over a long and varied career, Davy has shared stages and recorded with an impressive list of artists including Philip Lynott, Bob Geldof & The Boomtown Rats, Vivian Campbell, Jack Lancaster, Hazel O'Connor, Henry McCullough, Gráinne Duffy, and even Madonna. He has also worked with legendary producer Shel Talmy (The Who, The Kinks). His journey has taken him from iconic Irish venues such as Cork Opera House and the Róisín Dubh to major international stages including Glastonbury, Nashville's Cannery Hall, and London's Royal Albert Hall, where he opened for Beth Hart. One of the standout moments of his career came with a sold-out performance alongside the Ulster Orchestra at Belfast's Ulster Hall. Whether performing solo or with a full band, Davy Watson delivers music rooted in soul, storytelling, and authenticity—an artist whose voice and songs come straight from lived experience.
