LONESOME PETE

Lonesome Pete is a one-man blues band with a raw, homemade edge that has earned him comparisons to Northern Ireland's answer to Seasick Steve. Built on grit, groove, and instinct, his music is a stripped-back blast of primal blues energy. Writing and performing his own material alongside reworked blues standards, Pete delivers foot-stomping, rhythm-driven songs that hit hard and stay honest. Every performance is a journey through the rougher side of the blues—unpolished, powerful, and full of character. Armed with a striking collection of self-built and adapted instruments—including one-string diddley bow, 3-string handmade acoustics, a hubcap guitar, resonator, and 6- and 12-string acoustics—Pete layers raw slide and rhythm with his signature kick drum pulse to create a full-band sound all on his own. This is blues in its most direct form; gritty and inventive.
